During National Nutrition Month, we celebrate the important role healthy food plays in helping our students grow, learn, and thrive. 

We are also celebrating the people who make this possible. Lori McClellan, Sierra Unified’s CSEA Employee of the Year, heads up our nutrition services team and has brought great innovation to this program. From students sampling potential menu items to new, fresh and nutritious options, Lori and her team help SUSD students thrive by serving more than 6,000 meals each week!
