Sierra Junior High

Good morning and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

Today will be a great day for our students at Sierra Jr/Sr High School. We begin and end the day on our regular scheduled times. The first class begins at 8:15 am and the day finishes at 3:10pm. 

During the day, we will have both Sr High and Jr High rallies to kick off the year. Each period of the day, teachers will use our Kick Off Day presentation to help the students get to know them, our school, and kick off the year on a positive note. We want students to have a great day, ease into the new year, and reconnect with friends and staff members. 

On Thursday, we have school pictures for all students. Larson brothers will email a proof and the method for purchase of your students photos. This will all be done online through the company. 

Thursday is also our first home Volleyball game vs. Central East. The first game starts at 4pm.

Friday, in the evening, we have the Burger Bash beginning at 5 pm with the football scrimmage to follow at 6 pm. If you purchase tickets online, bring your email receipt to pick up your delicious burgers. 

Just a reminder, Jr High students cannot use their cell phones or electronic devices during the school day. High School students are not allowed to use cell phones or electronic devices during class time. This includes smart watches and earbuds.
