Being part of the Sierra High School campus provides the junior high students with several benefits. It gives accelerated students early access to advanced high school-level classes such as Spanish 1 and Math 1. All Junior High electives are taught by high school level or CTE certifieded teachers. It also allows them to familiarize themselves with the campus, as well as the high school staff, students, and community that they will eventually be part of, which can help ease the transition from junior high to high school.
